Ocean Tech Services (OTS) was contracted by a global marine salvage company to perform quick-response channel clearance surveys at Bimini Island, Bahamas following Hurricane Maria. OTS personnel and equipment arrived onsite within 48 hours of call-out and immediately began surveys with support from local vessel and divers.

Utilizing an Edgetech 4125 side scan sonar, surveys of the main channel, cruise ship pier, and resort marinas were conducted to locate objects obstructing vessel navigation. OTS completed the surveys over a two-day period and immediately post-processed the data for target identification and removal allowing marine traffic flow to resume.
